VESUVIUS - Half day

This is an excellent accompaniment to your visit to Pompeii or Herculaneum should you decide to have a rest in between excursions.

Tour details:
Itinerary: The half-day is dedicated to a visit to Mount Vesuvius with a coach trip half-way up the volcano and a walk to the top of its huge crater. On your way back to Sorrento there will be a visit to the Mineralogical Museum in Vico Equense.

Notes:
Wear comfy, closed-in shoes to stop the little stones getting in; take a top as it can be quite cool at the top of the volcano; take a bottle of water as it's thirsty work walking to the top !
